Free Summer Band Concerts on Sunday at 6pm Drummer Boy Field, Rte. 6A, Brewster

The summer band concert offers an evening of music that includes Broadway tunes, jazz, big band, classical and more from Town Bands and other invited performers. Most, if not all, of the concerts are free and open to the general public.  For dinner, stop in nearby Dennis for seafood takeout at Kreme ‘n Kone or at Bass River Burrito for delicious burritos.

Cape Cod Museum of Natural History

The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History preserves, exhibits, and interprets our own collections of natural history artifacts and display relevant traveling and loan exhibits.

One of the many programs at the museum includes the KidSummer.  This activity is Cape Cod's Nature Place summer program instilling a sense of wonder and discovery to last a lifetime. Offers a range of programs for ages 3 to 15, encouraging learning and appreciation of the environment through age-appropriate led by educators/naturalists.  

Brewster Historical Society Museum

Visit the Historical Society Museum and the historic Harris Black House & Windmill. OPEN Thurs to Sat, 1 – 4 pm, July – Sept. To promote: interest in the history of Brewster; historical research; preserve historic structures; collect and preserve documents & artifacts. 

Cape Rep Theatre

The Cape Rep Theatre is a theater for the performing arts operating May-December. 135 seat indoor theater, 200 seat outdoor theater.  Productions are for adults and children's theatre. 

Cape Sail

Join Captain Bob Rice aboard Sabbatical, a beautiful cutter-rigged classic. Cape Sail offers private sailing charters and a variety of learn-to-sail programs from beginner to advanced – including customized alternatives to the traditional sailing school. 

Cape Cod Rail Trail

Would you like to get off the beaten path and take a break from the traffic on Routes 6A and 28? The Cape Cod Rail trail is a paved recreational trail extending 26 miles through some of the most picturesque scenery on Cape Cod. A good portion of the trail runs through the historic village of Brewster.  The route also branches off into the National Seashore, ending up at scenic Coast Guard Beach in Eastham. 

Nickerson State Park

Nickerson Park’s 1900 acres offers more than 400 campsites; including yurt camping, an amphitheater, eight miles of roads, hiking trails, an eight mile bike path that connects to the 22 miles Cape Cod Rail Trail , and ponds stocked year-round with trout.

Nowhere in sight are the sand dunes and salt marshes usually associated with Cape Cod. Instead, you are surrounded by woods that slope down to the banks of eight crystal clear fresh water ponds.

The Crosby Mansion

The Crosby mansion in Brewster is a monument to an earlier time, a time of opulence, grandeur and painstaking craftsmanship. Standing tall on a rise of land with sweeping views of Cape Cod Bay, the three-story mansion is also a monument to romance

Stony Brook Grist Mill and Museum

The Stony Brook Grist Mill and Museum is a water-powered grist mill on the site of the original fulling mill in Brewster’s Factory Village. Open Saturdays during the summer. Occasionally open in the fall.  Fresh stone-ground cornmeal is for sale. Entrance to the mill is always free!!

Brewster Historical Society

The Brewster Historical Society operates a museum on Route 6A and offers summer walking tours, lectures and other special events throughout the year. The historical society also maintains the Higgins Farm Windmill, Harris-Black House and Blacksmith Shop on the grounds of Drummer Boy Park.

Brewster Whitecaps

The Brewster Whitecaps is a baseball team of the Cape Cod Baseball League.  While in Brewster go to a Brewster Whitecaps game and enjoy all the teams in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
